Saving Lives
The news is mixed regarding seniors, poverty, and homelessness in Costa Rica, among senior citizens. The number of seniors in poverty has increased along with the general aging population
Your Donation Will Help Us Save Lives
Many older adults must choose between paying for heat, medicine, or daily food. Many seniors are already living in poverty and just one life event away from slipping into it, homelessness and living on the street. Many have already died because of these events. Hogar de Ancianos is aggressive in creating and investing in innovative programs — from fighting senior hunger to providing health care to helping older adults connect with their neighbors and communities. Your voluntary donation to Hogar de Ancianos is a gift of hope for seniors who may feel forgotten and without options. Your gift is a lifeline for seniors struggling to meet their basic needs.
